A while ago Microsoft announced that Windows 365 will be renamed to Windows 365 Flex.

Over the last days we saw more and more surfaces in Intune got the rebranding rolled out:

While most of the changes are cosmetically, one thing that was not highlighted well in the announcement is, the CloudPC size which is the source for the device model field in Intune will also get changed:
CloudPC Frontline -> Windows 365 Flex

And while it was mentioned that we should update our documentation and we should plan for future updates to reporting, device models, etc., we should be aware that this change will also affect Intune Assignment Filters and dynamic Entra Groups:

Make sure to update your filters, dynamic group rules etc. to include the new naming schema now.

If you are using my Device Category script from that blog: https://mikemdm.de/2024/06/30/automatically-set-intune-device-categories-based-on-inventory-data/ , also make sure to add the new names to the if statements to also cover these machines.
Conclusion
While I’m definitely an absolute fan of the renaming from Frontline to Flex as is better reflects the benefits of these machines and avoids the implication that this is only built for frontline workers, we all should be aware that that change can cause trouble in our infrastructure if we are not prepared.
